Other Information:

William enlisted on 19th November 1915. He was 25 years and 6 months old and an inspector by trade. He joined the R.A.M.C. at Bristol and was posted to P Coy on the 12th. On the 11th December 1915 he was transferred to N Coy, where he remained until he e was admitted into hospital at Sutton Veny on 1st March 1916. After 19 days stay he died of Cerebral Embolism and Influenza. He was the son of James and Elizabeth Hayes; and the husband of Helen Estrild Harriet Jeffries (formerly Hayes) of 21 Bright Street, Hanham Road, Kingswood.
