Samuel was educated at Stratford-on-Avon. He was a student at St Bartholomew's Hospital from 1882, re-entering in 1896, when he obtained the diplomas of L.M.S.S.A. in 1901. Samuel went into practice at Ilford and attended the wounded soldiers at the Ilford Hospital until he joined the R.A.M.C. in December 1915. He died at Ilford from sickness. Samuel was the son of George Dudley of Compton House, Kinver, Stourbridge, Worcs; and the husband of Clara Dudley of Chacombe Vicarage, Banbury, Oxon.
