Other Information:

Samuel enlisted into the Staff Medical Corps on 8th September 1895. He was 18 years and 10 months old at the time. He previously served in Sudan in 1895, and in the Nile Expedition from 28th May to 28th October 1898. He entered the war in France on 16th August 1914, as part of the team for the Assistant Director of Medical Services, 2nd Division. He was discharged from the Colours on 11th October 1915.
