Other Information:

John received his medical education at the Victoria University & Dental Hospital, Manchester, qualifying L.S. R.C.S. in 1908. Between 1910 - 1914 he was Dental Surgeon to the British Troops in India. In January 1918 he was appointed at the War Office in the personnel branch of the Director-General's staff to represent the Dental Services. In 1936 he had become Consulting Dental Surgeon to the London County Council.
