Other Information:Reginald was Assistant Medical Entomologist to the London School of Tropical Medicine, and Director of the Seamen's Hospital Venereal Disease Clinic at the Albert Dock., and commenced the study of medicine at Caius College, Cambridge, then entered The London Hospital in 1903. He graduated M.A., M.B., B.C., in 1906, and M.D., seven years later. After acting as Casualty House Surgeon of Hull Royal Infirmary, he entered the West African Medical Staff, where he served as District Surgeon of Okigwi, in Southern Nigeria, and as Medical Officer of the Niger Cross River Expedition in 1908-09. In 19IO he joined the Colonial Service in Cyprus, where he was a district medical officer and examiner under the Pharmacy Act. In 1913 he was transferred to Grenada, West Indies, where he held the posts of Resident Surgeon to the Colony and Yaws Hospitals and Bacteriologist.
Reginald was granted a temporary commission as Lieutenant in the R.A.M.C. in 1915, and served under Colonel Leiper in Egypt in the investigation of bilharziosis. After his promotion to a Captaincy he was invalided, and then rejoined the staff of the London School of Tropical Medicine asAssistant Helminthologist and Assistant Medical Entomologist under Lieut. Colonel Alcock, C.I.E., and also acted as deputy director of the School. He was a Fellow of the Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, and the author of several papers on tropical diseases. He died at West Kensington.
