Other Information:Thomas was employed by St Helen's Co-op and had worked in the Grocery Department from 1904. He was also a member of the Nutgrove Wesleyan Bible Class, where he was a teacher, a Church organist, and a member of the Choir. He joined H.M. Forces in November 1914 and entered the war in France on 11th September 1915. He was wounded near Friecourt on the 1st July 1916. [Information and portrait photograph courtesy of Stephen Nulty]
