Other Information:James joined the RAMC on 14th April 1908. He was listed with men serving at the outbreak of war - A Section, Tent Sub-Division Personnel. James entered France with the unit on 7th October 1914 In 1918 he was residing at 35 Queen Street, St Helens. William was disembodied due to being surplace to military requirement, having suffered impairment since entry into the service, for this he was issued with a SWB. James was also awarded the TFEM, mentioned in the London Gazette on the 1st August 1919 [Researched by Dave Risley]
