Other Information:

Joseph enlisted on 15th November 1899. He was 18 years old at the time. He saw active service in South Africa from 1900 to 1902, then having served his time was transferred to Army Reserve on 18th June 1903. He was recalled to the colours on the outbreak of war, entering the war in France on 18th August 1914.
