Other Information:Joseph entered the war in France on 18th August 1914 and served as a stretcher-bearer. He was admitted into No 2 Field Ambulance on 26th September 1915 with a head shell wound. According to the war diary he died at 9.10 a.m. the next day (27th). He was the son of Jack and Sarah Holden of Summer Street, West Bromwich; and the husband of L. Holden of 31 Gregory Street, West Bromwich.
