Other Information:

Edward had served through the South African campaign and was called up as a reservist on the outbreak of war. He was employed at the Queen's Island shipyard, and was an instructor of the Avondale Batt. U.V.F. Ambulance Corps. He entered the war in France on 18th October 1914 but was wounded and died in hospital in the Dixmude region. He was the son of Alfred Lynar; and the husband of Hannah Carson (formerly Lynar) of 23 Clarendon Avenue, Bloomfield, Belfast.
