Other Information:

Thomas enlisted on the 12th August 1914 and was posted to Aldershot on the 13th, he was 24 years and 11 months of age and a Carter by trade. He entered the war in France on the 7th October and remained there until the 22nd April 1915, when he went with the unit to Italy, serving there until the remainder of the war. He returned home on the 18th January 1919. Thomas was wounded in action on the 11th March 1915 - gun shot wound to the left hand, and was wounded again on the 5th November 1917.
