Other Information:Caradoc enlisted on 11th February 1915. He was 22 years old, and a brick worker by trade. On 26th May 1915 he embarked at Southampton, then disembarking in Rouen the next day, entered the war in France on 15th May 1915. A few days later, on the 31st May he was sent to the Assistant Director of Medical Services, 1st Division, who posted him to serve with the 2nd Field Ambulance. He was part of a bearer team from the 2nd Field Ambulance who were sent up to do duty with the Bearer Division of No 1 Field Ambulance when he was fatally wounded. He was the son of Robert and Mary Ann Evans of 5 High Street, Phosymedre, Ruabon, Denbigh.
