Other Information:Walter attested on 10th August 1914 into the R.A.M.C., Special Reserve. He was 18 years and 45 days old, and was a Salesman by trade. He entered the war in France on 16th December 1914. On 10th May 1915 he is mentioned in the 2nd Field Ambulance war diary as being admitted into the unit with a bullet wound of the abdomen. He was evacuated back to the UK, then appears to have served in Malta from 16th August 1915 to 9th March 1919 (Service record not very clear). He returned back to the UK on 10th March 1919, then was discharged the following 22nd May. He was the son of Harry and Mary Moore.
