Other Information:

John was an Imperial Reservist [1st MD] who left Australia in 1914. He mobilized in Queensland & reported on the 13th August 1914, he then embarked from Sydney on the “Miltiades” on the 17th October, entering the war in France on the 31st December. John's next of kin was his wife, Mrs. Dobson c/o Mrs. Potter, Barry, Mackay Queensland. [Information courtesy of Andrew Pittaway]
