Other Information:James entered the war on 2nd October 1915 whilst serving on a hospital ship. He is also listed on a nominal roll as served with 141st Field Ambulance. At the time he was awarded the Military Medal he was living in Manchester. After the war James was granted a service pension. He was admitted into the Royal Chelsea Hospital on 30th September 1957.
