Other Information:

Ernest enlisted on 23rd October 1915. He was 23 years old, a printer machine minder by trade, and was living at 139 Stoughton Road, Guildford at the time. He embarked at Southampton on 6th March 1916, then disembarking at Havre the following day, entered the war in France on 7th March 1916 with 134th Field Ambulance. On 13th May 1918 he joined the Cyclist Base Depot, who posted him back to the 134th Field Ambulance on 25th June. He joined Base Details again on 9th December 1918, who posted him to serve with the 1/3rd North Midland Field Ambulance on the 13th December. On 29th March 1919 he was posted to No 58 Casualty Clearing Station, where he served until 3rd August 1919 when he proceeded to England for demobilization. He was the son of Henry Warner of 18 Gardiner Road, Guildford, and the Husband of Jessie Evelyn Warner (nee Jee).
