Thomas attended Old Scholar Friends’ School Lisburn, entering on the 14th January 1901. His work and conduct were recorded as generally “very satisfactory” although he appears to have struggled at some subjects. It is possible that he was the workshop curator at FSL in 1903. He left school on the 21st July 1905. Thomas was the son of Samuel and Jane E. Sprott of Carraboo, Portadown. [Information researched by Pat Geary]
