Other Information:Reginald entered the war in France on 13th August 1914, as part of the Regimental Medical Officer's team for the 1st Bn. King’s Liverpool Regiment. He was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal "For conspicuous gallantry. when a trench mortar bomb landed in a thickly manned portion of our trench, he rushed up and pinched the fuse before the other men had time to get into safety. He then poured water on the fuse and flung the bomb over the parapet."
