Other Information:Harry was educated at Ingram Road School, Thornton Heath. He enlisted on 13th February 1913. He entered the war in France on 23rd August 1914, as part of the Regimental Medical Officer's team for the 2nd Bn. Seaforth Highlanders. On 10th May 1918 the village of Gonnehem was bombarded with gas shells, with Augustus becoming a casualty that day. He died from his wounds at No 4 Canadian Casualty Clearing Station two days later. He was the eldest son of Harry Charles and Ada Mary Wicks of Stanford-in-the-Vale, Berks (previously of 28 Edward Road, Addiscombe)
