Other Information:

John entered the war in France on 15th August 1914 as part of the medical team attached to the 1st Bn. Coldstream Guards. Later on in the war he gained a commission as 2/Lieutenant in the North Staffordshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's) Regiment.
