Other Information:Sidney entered the war in France on 17th August 1914, as part of the Regimental Medical Officer's team for the 1st Divisional Train. He was serving with the 141st Field Ambulance when, on 10th February 1917, he proceeded to the 1st Field Ambulance to attend a course of lecture on chiropody. He was admitted to the hospital of the 141st Field Ambulance on 12th March 1918 suffering from Shell Gas Poisoning �W� and was transferred to No 36 Casualty Clearing Station.
