Other Information:Samuel Shuttleworth Rendall qualified M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. during 1905 and M.B., B.S., during 1907 both in St Bartholomews, London. The positions he held included Honary Surgeon at Salisbury Infirmary and Cliniical Assistant at St Lukes Hospital. He was also in partnership with Drs. South and Wrinch, and a medical officer of health for the Boston Rural District Council. Samuel served as a Temporary Captain in the RAMC. His local newspaper 'the Boston Guardian and Lincolnshire Independent published an article advising that Dr Rendall had gone out with a hospital ship to the Mediterranean, possibly Salonika. His Medal Index Card advises that he arrived in Salonika on the 21st October 1915. Dr Rendall resided at 49 High Street, Boston, Lincs.
