Frank died at sea. His name appears with those who were killed when the hospital ship “Salta” struck a mine and sank half a mile north of the Whistle Bouy, Havre on 10th April 1917. Frank was the son of George and Jessie Beattie of 16 Urquhart Road, Aberdeen.
