Other Information:Harold attested on 24th June 1916 and called up for service on 17th July 1917. He was 24 years and 257 days old, a Wool Sorter by trade, and living at 61 Church Street, Halifax at the time. He joined the R.A.M.C. on the 19th and posted to S Coy. On 25th February 1918 he embarked on H.M.H.S. 'Glenart Castle' and was reported missing, believed drowned on 26th after the hospital ship was torpedoed. His death was accepted by the War Office on lapse of time.
