George enlisted on 20th July 1917, he was 34 years old, a Van Driver by trade and living at 113 Howe Street, Liverpool at the time. He was posted to 'R' Coy and was at Shoreham from 4th September 1917 - 4th February 1918. George was the husband of Mary E Breakell of 113 Howe Street, Liverpool.
