Thomas enlisted into the R.A.M.C. on 28th May 1916 but was not called up until 8th August 1917. He was 22 years and 9 months old, a General Labourer by trade, and living at 4 Chainey Pieces, Havershill at the time. On 9th August he was posted to serve with the R.A.M.C. and was posted to 'S' Coy the next day. He embarked on H.M.H.S. on 25th February 1918 and was reported missing, believed drowned on 26th. His death was accepted by the War Office on lapse of time. Thomas was the son of Laura C Wright.
