Enoch entered the war in Egypt on 11th August 1915. He is listed in 'The Times' of September 1915 as being a casualty of the sinking of the "Royal Edward". He was the son of George Garbett; and the husband of Annie Elizabeth Garbett of 110 Avenue Road, Wath-on-Dearne, Rotherham.
