Other Information:

Albert embarked on the "Royal Edward" at Devonport on 30th July 1915 as part of a draft for the 1/1st East Anglian Field Ambulance. He arrived in Egypt on 11th August. Albert's body was never found and was believed to have drowned on the sinking of H.M.T. "Royal Edward" on passage from Alexandria to Gallipoli. He was the son of William M and Florence L Nuttal, of 34 Tovell's Road, Ipswich. (Place and date of birth courtesy of Louise McMillen)
