Other Information:From 1904 to 1915, Simeon lived at 8 Duckett Street in Burnley, Lancashire. He was an organist and a member of the choir at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. He was also employed as a weaver by Messrs. Sutcliffe and Clarkson of Burnley. He entered the war in Egypt on 11th August 1915. He was onboard H.M. Transport Ship 'Royal Edward' when it was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine UB-14. He was the son of William Barnard of Cinderford.
