Henry enlisted on 22nd October 1915. He was 30 years and 80 days old, was a sick nurse by trade, and was living at 27 Lamotte Street, Jersey at the time. He embarked at Southampton on 26th January 1916 as a reinforcement, then disembarking the next day at Rouen he entered the war in France on 27th January 1916. He died of Cerebro Spinal Meningitis at 10.05 p.m.at Meerut British General Hospital, Rouen. He was the son of Henry G and Adelaide Marshall; and the husband of Ada Annie Scriven (formerly Marshall) of 8 Roseville Street, St. Helier's, Jersey.
