Other Information:

George was a driller at a York engineering company. He entered the war in France on 21st May 1915 where he was wounded. He was discharged from the army on 20th October 1916. George was the son of William and Fanny Bardy of 6 School Street, Navigation Road, Walmgate, York. [Information researched and kindly provided by Chris Ludlam]
