Other Information:

Robert enlisted on 19th July 1915. He was 19 years and 4 months old and a book binder by trade. He entered the war in the Balkans on 3rd December 1915. He died from shell wounds on board the hospital ship "Salta" and was buried at sea. He was the son of Richard and Alice Woods of 304 Church Lane, Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington, Lancs.
