Other Information:Frank was educated at Leeds Grammar School and at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London - entering as a student in 1891, he obtained the diplomas of M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. in 1897, then qualified F.R.C.S. in 1902. He held appointments at the Shropshire and Mid Wales Ear, Eye and Throat Hospital at the Stroud Hospital, and at the Devon and East Cornwall Hospital. Prior to joining the R.A.M.C., he was in practice at Shrewsbury where he was physician to the Royal Salop Infirmary, and medical officer to the Post Office and Board of Education. Frank gained a temporary commission at the rank of Lieutenant on 16th May 1917, then entered the war in France on 10th June 1917. He accidentally drowned in France shortly after. He was the son of Charles Todd and Sarah Whincup of Green Hammerton, York.
