Other Information:

Clarence enlisted on 18th August 1915 and from his pension record it appears he served at an RAMC depot with the BEF between 25th February 1916 and 3rd July 1918. He was discharged on 29th August 1918, classed as no longer physically fit for war service (the pension record states he suffered from glycosuria) and he died on 19th September 1918. He was the son of Fred and Emily Dixon of 14 Reservoir View, Thornton, Bradford. (Information researched and kindly provided by Chris Ludlam)
