Other Information:

Arthur enlisted into the RAMC, Territorial Force in August 1914. He transferred to the 4th Bn. becoming attached to the 7th Bn. Leinster Regiment and gained a commission at the rank of 2nd Lieutenant on 14th April 1915. He entered the war in France and at the age of 28 was killed in action on 9th September 1916. Arthur is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. He was the son of Joseph and Florence Bliss of Edgcote House, High Wycombe, Bucks.
