Other Information:

Harry enlisted on 16th November 1914 and entered the war in France on 18th February 1915. He was discharged as being 'No longer physically fit for war service' after being badly wounded by a shell burst, whilst in action on 4th March 1917. He was invalided out of the army, receiving the Silver War Badge. [Information and photograph kindly provided by family]
