Lived 25 Eric Street, London E1. Believed to have been a medical orderly and at one point during the war was stationed at an army hospital in Arras. Was given compassionate leave when his mother was taken ill and subsequently died in February 1917. Three postcards were sent to his daughter on Monday 8th July 1918, all of which were postmarked Army Post Office S100, (in Taranto) and stamped by censor 882. One was a scene of Venice. Believed to have served in No 79 General Hospital but not confirmed (Information provided by his Granddaughter- C Shaw)
