Other Information:

Arthur lived in Maidstone. He entered the war in France on 23rd August 1914, as part of the Regimental Medical Officer's team for the 37th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal whilst serving attached to the 1/1st North Midland Field Ambulance. He was posted to serve with the 141st Field Ambulance for duty from the Director of Medical Service, IX Corps, joining them in the field on 16th January 1919. On 7th May 1919 he proceeded to the Concentration Camp for dispersal and was struck off the strength of the unit.
