Other Information:Leonard enlisted on 26th November 1902. He was 19 years and 5 months old, and a Clerk by trade. He entered the war in France on 16th August 1914, as part of the team for the Assistant Director of Medical Services, 2nd Division. On 18th January 1915 he was posted to serve with the office of the Director of Medical Services, 1st Army, then transferred to the Headquarters, 2nd Division on 6th April 1915. On 19th November 1915 he was transferred to Base Details who posted him back to England with instructions to report to the Officer Commanding the R.A.M.C. Depot at Aldershot for discharge. He was discharged from the Colours on 2nd December 1915. He was the son of William and Jane Dickinson of 34 Upton Avenue, Forest Gate.
