Other Information:Fred enlisted on the 11th December 1915 and was initially allocated to the Army Reserve. In the 1911 Census he was living with his parents at 6 Brookland Road, Reddish, Stockport. He was a barber by trade, and was single. He joined the R.A.M.C. in Aldershot on 8th March 1916. He was still serving in the Army in February 1920. His Service Record states that he was admitted at 3.00pm on the 20th February 1920 to the Military Hospital at Tidworth suffering from influenza and pneumonia. On admission his temperature was 104.4 and pulse 140. He died at 3.40am the next morning. He was the son of Joseph and Mary Ann Morris.
