Other Information:James enlisted on 28th April 1915. He was 20 years and 10 months old; was a grocer by trade, and was living at 6 Douglas Road, Inverness at the time. He was admitted into hospital on 11th September 1915 after complaining of pains in the chest, and remained there until 9th October 1915 being treated for pythiosis. He was discharged from the Army on 29th October 1915 with the diagnoses of pulmonary tuberculosis. James was the son of James and Margaret Ann Taylor of 75 New Street, Rothes, Morayshire.
