Other Information:The 1901 Census states that Albert lived at 35 Orsett St Lambeth, his occupation was Engine Fitters Labourer. He joined the R.A.M.C. on 17th June 1905 and served in India from 5th October 1910 - 21st March 1911. Military Service: WW1 1914-1918], at one time at Sennelager in 1915. On the 10th June 1920, the London Gazette announced that Alfred was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal, he was living in Aldershot. Alfred continued to serve after the war, working for an Army General, his duties included Chaffeuring [Info from Christina Haynes Memoir abt 1922. On the 23rd June 1923, Alfred married at St Michael's, Camberley, Surrey. He was promoted to Corporal around 1923 whilst serving with the RAMC in the British Army of the Rhine, under service number 7245530, at the Military Hospital, Langerfeld, Germany.
