Other Information:Albert enlisted on 12th November 1915. He was 23 years old, was a Weaver by trade, and was living at 4 Belgrave Street, Nelson, Lancs at the time. He joined at Cork the next day and was posted to "C" Coy. Albert embarked at Southampton on 3rd January 1917, then disembarking at Rouen two days later he entered the war in France on 5th January 1917. He was posted to serve with the 46th Field Ambulance, in the field, on the 16th, and was still serving with this unit when he was killed. He was the son of Hannah Elliott of the same address as above.
