Other Information:Andrew enlisted on 2nd February 1915. He was 37 years old; was a Moulder by trade; and was living in Kirkintilloch at the time. He embarked at Southampton on 10th August 1915, then disembarking at Rouen the following day, entered the war in France on 11th August 1915. On 21st March 1918 he was evacuated, via the 91st Field Ambulance, to No 36 Casualty Clearing Station, suffering a 'GSW' (shell) to his left wrist. He was discharged from No 36 Casualty Clearing Station on 29th March 1918 and rejoined unit for duty. On 15th June 1919 he proceeded to No 1 Concentration Camp, Cologne for dispersal and was struck off the strength of the unit. He was the husband of Helen Young of 1 Glencairn Terrace, Kirkintilloch.
