Other Information:Wilfred entered the war in France on 2nd September 1915. On the 26th September, he was severely wounded through the abdomen whilst proceeding along the Hulloch road, which was under heavy shrapnel fire. Six other men were wounded at the time, they were all admitted into the 27th Field Ambulance Dressing Station before being sent down the line. Wilfred died the next day. He was the son of John William Leek of 281 Rock Terrace, Manningham, Bradford, and of the late Ruth Leek.
