Other Information:Frank lived in Paddington. He entered the war in France on the 25th September 1915. He was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal "For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty with a party of stretcher bearers during an enemy attack. When two bearers were hit he crawled out from behind a farmhouse and carried in one. Then, accompanied by a serjeant of Field Ambulance, he went out to bring in the other bearer, but the serjeant was hit. He dragged in the second bearer, and went out a third time and helped the serjeant to cover. His conduct throughout was magnificent."
