Other Information:David was employed as a miner at Tudhoe Colliery, and lived at 214 Tudhoe Colliery, Spennymoor. He entered the war in France on the 1st May 1915. A whist drive and dance was held in the Town Hall, Spennymoor on Friday 16th May 1919 by Tudhoe Colliery War working Party. Tudhoe man Captain Gray of the Royal Engineers presented Treasury notes to nine men, another RAMC man was Sgt G. Galley - Certificate of Merit.
