Albert was a labourer at a brush works. The possible location he enlisted into the R.A.M.C. was Southampton. He died of illness at the University War Hospital, Southampton. He was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Ann Holgate. In the 1911 Census they were living at 32 Hood Street, Accrington. [Information researched and kindly provided by Chris Ludlam]
