Other Information:Frederick entered the war in France on 13th August 1914, as part of the Regimental Medical Officer's team for the 2nd Bn. Connaught Rangers.
His name appears on a list of R.A.M.C. personnel who were taken captive up to & including 31st December 1914 - (kindly provided by Steve Mattocks). He was taken captive on 27th August 1914 at Bertrix, then taken to Landrecies, and from there was taken to a prisoner of war camp in Germany. His address was given as R.A.M.C. Barracks, Bedford.
