Other Information:

Alfred entered the war in France on 21st August 1914, as part of the Regimental Medical Officer's team for the 1st Bn. Devonshire Regiment. He continued to serve after the war under the service numbers 201377, then after the 1921 re-numbering as 7241438. He was awarded the General Service Medal and clasp for his service in Iraq.
